I cannot start this blog post without screaming THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for the nominations and voting for me as one of UBAWA's Top 100 Authors of 2018. When I first started publishing in 2013, it felt like there were about 20-25 authors out there. Now, it feels like there are millions and sometimes it may seem hard to figure out me place in all of it and where I stand when there are so many people out there chasing the same dream as me. It really is an almost indescribable feeling to know that there are so many people from all over the country (maybe even the world) that support me and want to see me win.
Although 2018 is done and over with, I had some pretty big wins.
7: Books Released (6 urban fiction, 1 children's book) (which brought me to 25 published works)
2: #1 new releases
7: Super awesome book signings in Virginia, Atlanta, Maryland and Chicago
3: Special little winners from different parts of the U.S. won my Back to School Princess Giveaway
Just to name a few!!
